  • Help to develop strategies to encourage the use of paired courses statewide
  • Represent institution and identify liaison for course nominations
  • Nominate and oversee design teams for paired courses in each of the three subject areas: English/language arts, mathematics, and science.

Standards Review Tool

To-date, EPIC has received feedback via the online comment tool from over 100 respondents on the college readiness reference standards. The purpose of these reference standards is to serve as a common reference point for the development of paired courses.

The standards are available for review and comment through September 2008, online at https://www.epiconline.org/sc/pc. New users should follow the link to register for a username and password. After registering, users will be asked to review each standard and indicate whether it describes the knowledge or skills necessary for college readiness. Users will also be given the opportunity to submit written comments. More detailed directions are available online.
