Maine Course Pathways Project

Timeline

In February 2008, content area specialists from the Maine Department of Education worked with EPIC staff to create a first version of the Maine Course Pathways syllabus Scoring Guides. A Scoring Guide exists for each of the seven Maine Learning Results content areas to ensure that syllabus reviewers and teachers have a consistent understanding of the level and type of evidence required to confirm the Learning Results in a syllabus.

In Spring 2008, three Maine high schools pilot tested a beta version of EPIC’s SyllabusMaker software, which teachers would use to create their syllabi for Maine Course Pathways.
